About the role
The Food Service Specialist supports catering operations in the newly renovated Spitzer Conference Center, assisting with food preparation, production, packaging, and kitchen organization to ensure high-quality service for catered events. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events, is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, production, packaging, and kitchen organization
- Dishwashing, stocking, and runner duties
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Cross training with the LCCC Marketplace and Bistro team as needed
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent in education
- 2-3 years experience in a commercial kitchen
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation

- Current ServSafe certification and knife skills preferred
