Part Time Food Service Specialist - Catering Kitchen

About the role

The Food Service Specialist supports catering operations in the newly renovated Spitzer Conference Center, assisting with food preparation, production, packaging, and kitchen organization to ensure high-quality service for catered events. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, production, packaging, and kitchen organization
• Dishwashing, stocking, and runner duties
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Cross training with the LCCC Marketplace and Bistro team as needed

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent in education
• 2-3 years experience in a commercial kitchen
• The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe certification and knife skills preferred
