Part Time Food Service Specialist

Location: Uinta County School District #1, Evanston, Wyoming Central Kitchen

Join our Nutrition Services team and make a healthy difference in students' lives. We are looking for an energetic self-starter to help prepare and serve nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment. Emphasis is placed on communication, multi-tasking, and reliability. Teamwork is essential in the kitchen, school, district, and department settings.

Pay

$17.70 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 1:30 pm (6 hours per day, 183 days per year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving healthy meals to students.
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment daily and as needed throughout the day (e.g., dishes, counters, floors).
• Maintain food safety, state, and federal guidelines.
• Support the Kitchen Manager in daily tasks.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain a positive attitude and present yourself in a pleasant, clean, and professional manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quantity food preparation and serving preferred.
• Basic math, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements, including full range of motion and lifting 50 pounds.

Food safety and basic math skills are a plus.
