Schedule
Weekend-based | Up to 25 hours per week
Pay
$15-$20/hour
Position Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
- Following food safety and health guidelines.
- Assisting with dishwashing and kitchen organization.
- Supporting special events and weekend camp operations as needed.
Job Requirements
- Must be willing to accept and meet Scouting America's membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law.
- 18 years of age or older unless prohibited by any applicable law.
- Must possess a current Certified Food Manager (CFM) certificate recognized by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) or obtain certification within a specified period of employment.
- Able to work flexible hours, as needed, including evening activities and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills characterized by enthusiasm, punctuality, responsibility, and creativity.
Training and Certifications
Training and certifications are required and may be provided upon hire date. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.
