Part Time Field Service Technician

Job Summary

Rotary and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Phoenix, AZ area. The position pays $22-23 an hour and includes a car allowance, cell-phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card for business miles.

About the Role

This role involves servicing kiosks, performing installations, monitoring machines, and optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships. The territory consists of 70+ kiosks and requires approximately 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred)
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred)
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred)
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”

Qualifications

• Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license
• Clean driving record is mandatory
• Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates
• Reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement)
• Reliable cell phone (reimbursed)
