Part Time Field Service Technician

Job Summary

Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Wichita, KS area. The position pays $22-25 an hour and includes a car allowance, cell-phone reimbursement, and a corporate gas card for business miles.

About the Role

This is an hourly role based on experience. The territory consists of 20+ kiosks and hours per week range from 8-20, depending on business needs. Essential job functions include re-stocking and performing routine service on kiosks, installing new kiosks, monitoring machines for issues, and growing revenue in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.
• New kiosk installations or swaps of machines in the local area.
• Maintain inventory for re-stocking machines in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Resolve connectivity or power issues for machines in the territory.
• Optimize machine locations, uptime, product mix, and store relationships to grow revenue.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations, and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English to include technical jargon.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to represent Hillman professionally.
• Work weekends when required.

Skills

• Operational Equipment: Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation with automobile insurance, and a reliable cell phone (reimbursed).
