Part-Time Faculty - Learning Framework
About the role
Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignments may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
Responsibilities
The purpose of this course is to enable the student to develop effective academic behaviors for college success. The course includes a balance between the research and theory in the psychology of learning, cognition, and motivation and how to apply what the student learns to becoming successful in a college setting.

- Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Education.
