Part-Time Faculty: Computer and Information Science

About the role

The Department of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University seeks adjunct faculty members to teach a variety of courses in computer science and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 2 courses per semester (on-campus or non-online or in dual-modality)
• Teach undergraduate classes including: C Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases, Cybersecurity, Forensic Computing
• Teach graduate classes including: Machine Learning, Big Data Computing
• Teach evening classes, meeting once a week, capped at thirty students per class

Qualifications

• M.S. in Computer Science or related fields or B.S. with relevant industrial or teaching experience
• A commitment to teaching excellence
• Excellent communication skills

Benefits

This position is covered under the SEIU Local 200 union.

Pay

$8798

Schedule

All classes are taught in the evening and meet once a week.
