Part Time Faculty - Art History-Architectural History

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.

Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas.

Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member.

Teach all scheduled classes.

Maintain accurate records.

Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, on-line and/or off-campus classes.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Art History
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and support students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and utilize active learning strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years teaching experience in Art History at the college level
• Experience teaching in higher education in an online format

Pay

This position pays between $1,217.00 and $1,314.00 per Faculty Load Hour.
