About the role
Albertus Magnus College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach courses in English. The successful candidate will teach courses, plan and deliver curriculum in classrooms, laboratories, and/or practicums, ensuring students acquire the essential skill sets and objectives stated in departmental course outlines. Instruction should be meaningful and assessment-based to observe and evaluate student progress.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in English as assigned.
- Plan and deliver curriculum in various instructional settings (classrooms, labs, practicums).
- Monitor student progress, maintain grade records, and provide assessment data to the department on time.
- Use appropriate terminology and technology to communicate with students and provide academic support.
- Comply with College policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
Requirements
- Conferred master’s degree in English or a related field from an accredited college/university (minimum qualification).
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Proficiency with learning management systems, email, video conferencing, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Additional qualifications or certifications may be required for specific courses.
