About the role

Albertus Magnus College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach courses in English. The successful candidate will teach courses, plan and deliver curriculum in classrooms, laboratories, and/or practicums, ensuring students acquire the essential skill sets and objectives stated in departmental course outlines. Instruction should be meaningful and assessment-based to observe and evaluate student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in English as assigned.
• Plan and deliver curriculum in various instructional settings (classrooms, labs, practicums).
• Monitor student progress, maintain grade records, and provide assessment data to the department on time.
• Use appropriate terminology and technology to communicate with students and provide academic support.
• Comply with College policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.

Requirements

• Conferred master’s degree in English or a related field from an accredited college/university (minimum qualification).
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, email, video conferencing, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional qualifications or certifications may be required for specific courses.
