About the role

Worcester Polytechnic Institute seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach graduate courses in an online/asynchronous format. Positions are created to provide an available applicant pool for the Graduate Studies department and will be filled on an as‑needed basis, with start dates varying by course and semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate‑level courses in an online/asynchronous modality.

Qualifications

• Hold an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Demonstrate significant practical experience in the relevant area.
• Have successful graduate‑level teaching experience.

Pay

• $6,667 per two‑credit course
• $10,000 per three‑credit course
• Compensation is scaled if enrollment falls below 12 students per course
