Part Time Extended Day Supervisor - St. Pius V School - Lower West Side

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in a safe, nurturing, and engaging after-school environment.
• Assist students with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
• Foster positive relationships while encouraging respect, responsibility, and inclusion.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff.
• Assist with snack distribution, attendance, and daily program setup and cleanup.
• Follow all school policies and child safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or similar setting preferred.
• High school diploma required; college coursework in education, child development, or a related field is a plus.
• Positive, patient, dependable, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Pay

The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and benefit programs. This position has an hourly range of $16.60 - $17.26. An employee’s pay within the range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
