Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual to serve as our Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor. As the Extended Day/After-School Programs Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of our Extended Day program and after-school programs we offer, ensuring students have a safe, welcoming, and engaging place to end their school day. You will also serve as a point of contact for parents, visitors, and outside vendors, communicating professionally to support the day-to-day success of the program. Position Details:Title: Extended Day/After-School Programs SupervisorClassification: Non-Exempt (Hourly, $20-$25 DOE)Reports to: Head of SchoolSchedule: Part-Time; Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Subject to change) Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredUndergraduate degree from an accredited university preferredPrevious experience in childcare, recreation, education or similar setting preferredProficiency in Google Workspace and other school information systemsStrong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environmentDSS certification preferred (We can start the certification process for you) Duties and Responsibilities:Greeting visitors, parents, students, and staff professionally and warmlyAnswering and routing phone calls and taking messagesKeeping an organized and welcoming reception and program environmentOverseeing the safety, well-being and behavior of students in the Extended Day programSupervising Extended Day staff, arranging coverage and adhering to safety protocolsDeveloping engaging activities, arts and crafts, and games for the studentsMaintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, tracking attendance of students after-school hours _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Interested candidates are encouraged to learn more about Mason Preparatory School by visiting our website https://www.masonprep.org/ to explore our mission, programs, and community.
