Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Teamwork.
- Able to arrive 1-2 hours prior to any staff entering the building and stay up to 1-2 hours post event.
- Respond to all calls made by various departments throughout the arena.
- Ensure calls are only made for necessary information regarding safety, emergencies, medical incidents, and maintenance needs in the arena.
- Know emergency policies and procedures and be prepared to act when necessary.
- Appropriately document information that is called in.
- Must be able to work 70% of the Toyota Center events each month.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service.
- At least one-year of prior dispatch/supervisory experience (Venue or stadium operations preferred).
- Detail oriented and highly organized with an ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change.
- Experienced in computerized data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent social and leadership skills with a diverse staff.
- Tenacious work ethic.
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical & Mental Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk and communicate with others.
- The vision requirement includes the ability to review written and electronic materials in both digital and physical format.
- The employee must be able to transfer and move items for departmental needs.
- The employee must be able to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed in light of the strong focus on external communications and relationships.
