Part-Time ER Nurse (Night Shift)

About the Role

This role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room, ensuring safe, compassionate, and age-specific nursing services. The nurse will document accurately, observe and record patient signs and behaviors, follow physician orders, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient, developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical skills.
• Perform lab tests, collect samples, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and prepare supplies and equipment.
• Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Complete quality assessments and attend staff meetings as required.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state without sanctions.
• Minimum of 2 years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC or TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills.
• For Pennsylvania residents, background clearances are required.
