About the role
Seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse with part-time availability to provide comprehensive patient care in a small-format hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care tailored to different age groups and specialties
- Documenting accurately in medical records
- Monitoring patient signs, symptoms, and behaviors
- Following physician orders and adhering to infection control standards
- Performing lab tests, specimen collection, and patient transfers
- Assembling equipment and assisting with diagnostic or treatment procedures
- Participating in quality assessment activities and team meetings
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (BSN preferred)
- Valid RN license without sanctions
- 2+ years ER or similar experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC or TNCC preferred
- Fluency in English and clear communication skills
- For Pennsylvania candidates, background clearances completed within 5 years
