Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in an emergency care setting. Key Responsibilities Supervise staff including hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.Assist in developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring goals are met despite changing business needs.Provide and oversee patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and treatments.Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including conducting performance reviews, issuing corrective actions, and ensuring operational productivity.Ensure staff productivity aligns with departmental goals and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience is a plus.Preferred: 5-10 years of experience, less than 2 years of supervisory experience, and team lead or emergency medicine background.
