Part-Time EEG Technician

About the Role

This position encompasses multiple levels of EEG Technicians, including Associate, EEG, and Senior EEG Technician. The role involves performing neurodiagnostic procedures, including routine and complex electroencephalographic tests, under supervision. The Senior EEG Technician may oversee and train staff, conduct comprehensive adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, and provide patient education and interventions such as CPAP and O2 titration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodiagnostic procedures, including routine and complex electroencephalographic tests
• Support patient care and provide patient education
• Assist in training and overseeing staff (Senior EEG Technician level)
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic services, including interventions such as CPAP and O2 titration

Requirements

• BLS certification
• EEG or neurodiagnostic training
• Relevant experience (varies by level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in EEG or neurodiagnostics
• Higher education in a related field
• Experience in EEG or sleep labs
