EEG Technician - Neurophysiology/EEG - Part Time

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (24 hours per week). On-call rotation required nights and weekends, split among the five technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform EEG tests as requested by physicians.
- Gather patient medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure.
- Monitor the patient’s status and note any abnormalities during testing.
- Report findings to the physician once testing is complete for further analysis.
- Enter appropriate data in computer modules.
- Verify department inventory levels and reorder additional supplies as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s degree in clinical Neurophysiology (preferred).
- Previous healthcare/EEG experience (preferred).
- EEG Certification (required).
- Registered EEG Technician (preferred).
- BLS authorization (preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire).
