Part Time Educator (Dunlap School District)

About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role involves driving the mission through daily program meetings, organizing and facilitating daily activities, leading by example, prioritizing safety and joy, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Maintain Environment: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols.
• Communication: Effective communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare/school setting.
• First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• Proof of MMR (documentation can be provided).
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

Up to $18.00 per hour (based on education & experience).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm*, with the exception of Wednesday, 2:00pm-6:00pm. Hours may vary per individual school.
