Part-time position in Student Dining.

About the role

Collect and prep dishware for cleaning, load dishware into dishwasher, monitor and operate dish-cleaning equipment, empty and clean designated equipment, and perform area cleanup after shift. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Dependable and self-starter
• Able to follow instructions
• Work with minimal supervision if necessary
• Currently authorized to work in the United States (Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Bending and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
• Ability to work alone
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around kitchen environment

Schedule

Up to 29.9 hours per week. Shift varies.
