Part-Time Deli Server - Student Dining

About the role

Position works Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Set up Deli station in the morning.
• Organize bread rack and resupply based on the day’s requirements.
• Stock coolers and fill condiment bottles for the day.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.

Required Qualifications

• Performs the duties in an efficient and positive manner, meeting the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows State health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Detail oriented, reliable, self-starter.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision in a busy environment.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bending, lifting, standing for long periods.
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around a kitchen environment.
