Part-Time AM Pasta Server - Student Dining

Responsibilities

• Prepare pasta, sauces, breadsticks, and toppings needed for daily production.
• Complete related paperwork to document accurate product usage and temperature logs.
• Maintain safe food temperatures throughout the meal period.
• Rotate product, clean up, and sanitize the area during and after shift.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Deep cleaning of stations and related areas during shutdown and summer break.
• May be asked to work in other auxiliary operations as needed.

Schedule

7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday; every other weekend 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Performs duties in an efficient and positive manner.
• Meets the objectives of Ashland University and the needs of the student customer.
• Follows state health department guidelines and dress codes.
• Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States; Ashland University will not sponsor employment visas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and a self‑starter.
• Able to work with little or no supervision.

Physical Demands

• Bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Tolerance to extreme heat when working in and around a kitchen environment.

Pay

$13.50 per hour.

Hours per week

Approximately 29 hours.
