About the role

The Dietary Worker provides patient support through phone and software systems, serving as a liaison for meal services and ensuring accurate nutrition care.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient calls, take menu orders, answer dietary questions, and direct inquiries appropriately
• Use software to record orders and maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets for accurate processing
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and nutrition teams to ensure patient nutritional needs are met
• Maintain confidentiality, safety, and sanitation standards while adhering to company policies and regulations
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment, adapting to customer needs and changing priorities

Qualifications

Prior customer service or call center experience is preferred; food service or dietary background is advantageous. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, tech-savvy, and able to maintain professionalism and composure. Additionally, they should be able to stay calm under pressure, utilize technology effectively, and communicate fluently in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
