Part-Time Dialysis Patient Care Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Dialysis Technician to join a team providing safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under supervision, including initiating and discontinuing treatments
• Monitor vital signs, weight, and vascular access, and report abnormalities
• Set up, operate, and perform safety checks on hemodialysis machines
• Administer heparin as permitted
• Accurately document treatment details and prepare lab specimens
• Ensure a clean and safe environment while delivering excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
• Adhere to regulatory standards and policies to ensure quality patient care
