Part-Time Dialysis Patient Care Technician

About the Role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports dialysis treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease, working under RN supervision to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in infection control, patient education, and risk management activities
• Assist with patient setup, blood system preparation, and needle insertion/removal
• Monitor patients during dialysis, record vital signs, and document changes
• Prioritize patient care tasks, maintain patient privacy, and manage inventory

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory
