Part-Time Dental Hygienist

About the role

Join our team as a dental hygienist dedicated to promoting oral health and building positive patient relationships. You will perform preventative dental procedures, review and update patient dental histories, record treatments, and assist the dentist as needed. Administering local anesthetics may be required, depending on regulations. We emphasize teamwork, partnering with dentists and support staff to deliver high-quality care. You will educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition’s impact on oral health, and contribute to a comprehensive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative dental procedures such as cleanings, scaling, root planing, and applying cavity prevention agents
• Review and update patient dental histories
• Record treatments
• Assist the dentist as needed
• Administer local anesthetics (where permitted by regulations)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition’s impact on oral health

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program
• Valid state license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel between locations is preferred
