About the role
Deliver patient-centered preventative dental care, including exams, X-rays, periodontal treatments, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient records and update medical histories
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Perform preventive and restorative dental services, including anesthesia administration
- Provide oral hygiene education and develop treatment plans
- Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are followed
- Participate in dental education programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program with active license and restorative endorsement
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorations
- Manual dexterity, time management skills, and basic computer proficiency
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse patient populations
