Part-time Daytime Retail Supervisor

Hurricanes Holding, LLC is seeking a part-time Daytime Retail Supervisor to oversee retail operations for the Carolina Pro Shop. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Merchandise & Retail and collaborates with the merchandise team to prepare the arena for game days and events.

The ideal candidate is an organized leader with retail experience who enjoys coaching others and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Availability for daytime hours, up to 25-30 hours per week based on business demand, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the Carolina Pro Shop at Lenovo Center.
• Support fulfillment and game day prep of merchandise throughout Lenovo Center, including distribution from the offsite warehouse.
• Communicate with retail staff and customers to ensure expectations are met, issues are resolved, and orders/merchandise are delivered on time.
• Lead and support daytime retail associates by providing direction, coaching, and assistance throughout each shift.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with merchandise availability, store information, and order inquiries.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain product information across systems, including receiving new merchandise, managing variants, updating pricing, assigning categories, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Verify merchandise is properly stocked, tagged, and presented to industry standards.
• Report shopping trends and store needs to upper management.
• Ensure product displays are visually appealing and reflect current promotions.
• Work closely with the Ecommerce team to coordinate orders and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Distribution Manager to ensure appropriate stock levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous retail experience required; supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a group of coworkers.
• Basic understanding of retail processes; experience with Teamwork is a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Capable of heavy pushing/pulling of product and safely operating a manual pallet jack (training provided).
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between the arena and warehouse (within 3 miles) on the same day.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid NC Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.
