About the role

As one of our Store Managers, you’ll develop a first-class team, implement plans to maximize store sales, and provide customers with an unforgettable retail experience in a fast-paced environment that demands operational expertise. You don’t need a background in education, but a desire to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment and development of the sales team.
  • Train and develop new sales associates; provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Drive workplace engagement and motivation within the store.
  • Surpass customer-service expectations and empower the team to adhere to service protocols.
  • Seek and communicate customer feedback regarding school and home use of products.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers.
  • Train staff on new products and promotions.
  • Maintain company expectations for store presentation, policies, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control.
  • Handle cash reconciliation and operate as keyholder for store opening/closing.
  • Assist in employee scheduling and payroll approval to support optimal staffing.
  • Support sales initiatives, promotional activities, and outreach programs to raise awareness and foster relationships.

Requirements

  • 1-year related retail management experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of retail POS systems.
