Part Time Dairy/Frozen

About the role

Cub Mankato East is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time dairy/frozen food position. Dairy/frozen food stockers ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers. Product rotation is critical to ensure freshness and minimize waste. This role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills to contribute to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform aisle stocking and display building
• Sort dairy/frozen food stock loads
• Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Assist customers with questions about product locations and suggestions
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures

Requirements

• Operate equipment (hand jack, power jack, box cutter, flat bed, compactor, broom, mop)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be immediately available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 16 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to subzero temperatures

3:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual pay will depend on factors including education, experience, training, and requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
