Part Time Dairy/Frozen

Cub Mankato East is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time dairy/frozen food position. This role focuses on stocking, organizing, and maintaining dairy and frozen food sections to ensure a visually appealing and efficient shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform aisle stocking and display building
• Sort dairy/frozen food stock loads
• Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Help customers with product locations and suggestions
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures
• Ensure product rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as hand jack, power jack, box cutter, flat bed, compactor, broom, and mop
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment, especially when direct supervision is not immediately available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, and repetitive motions
• Exposure to subzero temperatures

3:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Pay

Pay rate for this position will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
