Part-Time Custodian

Role And Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe facilities to support a conducive learning and working environment.
• Perform general custodial tasks, including cleaning hallways, bathrooms, classrooms, and grounds.
• Strip and wax floors, assist with furniture and equipment movement, and keep premises tidy.
• Assist with seasonal grass cutting and dispose of trash and waste.
• Perform minor repairs and ensure all exit doors are unobstructed and functioning properly.
• Report damages and use skills in foresight, concentration, and basic mathematics for efficient task completion.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to work days or evenings.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Self-motivated, physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing, walking, climbing, and performing physical tasks.
• Required visual abilities include close vision and depth perception.
