Part-Time Custodian

About the role

The Substitute Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe school environment under the supervision of the Head of Maintenance.

Key Duties Include

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and other areas to meet district standards.
• Performing minor repairs, clearing snow and ice, and maintaining building safety.
• Sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows and glass doors.
• Emptying trash, picking up litter, replenishing supplies, and assisting with other assigned tasks.

Qualifications And Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.

This role involves maintaining cleanliness, minor repairs, and ensuring safety within a school setting, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
