Part-time Custodial-Night Porter

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms, seat covers, and trash bags, and empty trash and recycling bins. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Skills/Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the HBM prescreen check
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions in English
• Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or similar fields preferred, though not mandatory
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle preferred, but not essential
• Strong public relations and communication skills
• Basic manual labor capabilities, including:
• Cleaning common areas
• Frequently lifting, pushing, pressing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. (up to 50 lbs.)
• Reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, and walking up and down stairways
• Using elevators, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods throughout shifts

Available Schedules

• Monday-Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Monday-Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Sunday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Compensation

$16.00 to $17.00 per hour
