About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to generate cross-sectional images of body tissues
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot when necessary
- Document patient data and imaging details accurately
- Follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure
- Work effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver diagnostic services
Requirements
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license compliant with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred: ARRT certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with various CT equipment and protocols
- Adaptability to different healthcare settings
- Professionalism, visual acuity, and effective communication skills
