About the role
A Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients, following imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, ensure safety
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues
- Document patient data and imaging details accurately
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for timely diagnostics
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow protocols
Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent CT technologist experience. Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification. Preferred ARRT certification.

- Physical ability to lift and move equipment, remain stationary, and assist with procedures
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and working under pressure
