About the Role
A skilled CT Technologist is needed for a travel assignment, responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Set technical parameters to ensure accurate imaging
- Provide high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards
- Document patient information and procedural details
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostics
- Adapt to various CT equipment and protocols
- Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT experience
- Valid Radiology license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
