About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, ensure high-quality images, and adhere to safety protocols. The role involves maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and adapting to various protocols and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed
- Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies
- Record patient information and imaging details accurately
- Work effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Perform routine maintenance and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent CT Technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred ARRT certification and additional licenses may be required
