About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment focused on operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues.
  • Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Adjust technical settings for accurate imaging of anatomy and pathology.
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
  • Document patient information and imaging details accurately.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to deliver timely diagnostic services.

Qualifications

  • One year of recent CT technologist experience.
  • Valid radiology license per state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
  • Preferred ARRT certification.

Skills

  • Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use.
  • Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and adapt to different protocols.
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
