About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment focused on operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues.
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Adjust technical settings for accurate imaging of anatomy and pathology.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Document patient information and imaging details accurately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Qualifications
- One year of recent CT technologist experience.
- Valid radiology license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Preferred ARRT certification.
Skills
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use.
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and adapt to different protocols.
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
