Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

Travel CT Technologist responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and ensure high-quality imaging
• Prepare and educate patients about procedures
• Set technical parameters for optimal imaging
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Document patient data accurately
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Adapt to various CT equipment and protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent CT tech experience
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and operate equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
