About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans
  • Set technical parameters for imaging procedures
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic cross-sectional images
  • Maintain CT equipment and adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals
  • Document procedures accurately
  • Provide compassionate patient care

Requirements

  • One year of recent CT experience
  • Valid Radiology license per state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current ARRT Certification

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English, PC skills, and reading/comprehension
  • Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow instructions
