Part-Time CT Technologist

About the Role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging. Ensure accurate imaging parameters, adhere to radiation safety standards, troubleshoot equipment, and provide compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Ensure safety and adhere to radiation safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
  • Document procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • One year of recent CT technologist experience
  • Valid radiology license
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT certification preferred
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical ability to handle equipment and move patients
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in reading instructions and basic PC skills
  • Visual acuity required
