About the Role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging. Ensure accurate imaging parameters, adhere to radiation safety standards, troubleshoot equipment, and provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure safety and adhere to radiation safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
- Document procedures accurately
- Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification preferred
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and move patients
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in reading instructions and basic PC skills
- Visual acuity required
