Part-Time/Contract Medical Director

About the Role

A Part-Time/Contract Medical Director position for an Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) program, responsible for leading clinical operations and ensuring high-quality addiction care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OBOT program
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and physicians
• Collaborate with staff, providers, and patients to deliver quality care
• Offer guidance, training, and enforce clinical standards and protocols
• Address performance issues and ensure corrective actions
• Participate in patient care as needed and occasional out-of-state travel
• Utilize EHR systems, Word, and Excel efficiently

Requirements

• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry (preferred)
• Active Medical License and DEA Registration in OH
• Experience supervising advanced practice providers is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with clinical software and basic office tools

Schedule

10–15 hours per week, with schedule determined collaboratively. Hybrid role requiring onsite presence as needed during business hours.

Pay

Compensation starting at $150/hour, with potential increases based on experience.
