Part-Time Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

This position involves supporting inpatient pharmacy services through medication management, clinical dosing, monitoring, and oncology/infusion support, contributing to high-quality patient care and pharmacy practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow and supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees, serving as a medication therapy resource.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness based on patient condition, organ function, and therapies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety within medication use processes.
• Provide medication counseling, education, and support procurement, storage, and disposal of medications.
• Supporting medication therapy management, ensuring safe and effective medication use, supervising staff, and contributing to departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervision experience is not required.
• RPh license and Medication Therapy Services in MO.
