About the role
Join a 43-bed Med/Surg unit as a Registered Nurse in a full-time, night shift role that is benefits-eligible and sign-on bonus eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Work in a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licenses: Valid RN license.
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
