Part Time Clinical Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care for children undergoing dialysis, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care settings.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Contribute to a safe environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interprofessional team.
