Part-Time Clinical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a per diem Clinical Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations in a varied hour position. Key responsibilities include: Processing and preparing biological specimens, ensuring proper identification and integrity.Performing waived and limited moderate complexity testing under supervision, adhering to CLIA and regulatory standards.Maintaining laboratory equipment, tracking specimens, and managing quality control measures.Participating in departmental initiatives to optimize costs and improve service.Supporting additional duties like phlebotomy and training, and ensuring effective communication within the team. Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent; valid phlebotomy/CLA certification per state regulations.Experience in clinical laboratories, specimen handling, or laboratory assistant programs is preferred.Strong knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established policies and procedures.
