Part Time - Clinical Faculty (BSN Required)
About the role
Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic part-time Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Columbus campus. The role allows you to continue working in the field while exploring academia and engaging the next generation of nurses.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
- Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to ensure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
- Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
- Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
- Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
- Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered.
- Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
General Credentialing Requirements
- Provide copies of official transcripts for all degrees earned.
- Provide a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS CPR card.
- Complete a physical form (from within the last 12 months).
- Immunization documentation for:
- Hepatitis B
- Meningococcal Meningitis
- Rabies
- Tetanus
- Varicella
- TB
- Flu (October 1 – April 1 hires)
Benefits & Compensation
Hondros College of Nursing offers a robust total rewards program that includes a competitive compensation and benefits program. The pay range for this role is $33.00 to $45.00 per hour, with additional details provided upon offer.
