Part Time - Clinical Faculty (BSN Required)
About the role
Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic part-time Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Maumee campus.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in a lab setting or off campus in a clinical setting as needed.
- Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
- Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
- Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
- Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
- Active State of Ohio RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
- Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
- Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Compensation, Benefits & Schedule
- Flexible off-site clinical-based scheduling up to 24 hours per week (generally no Sundays or Holiday scheduling!)
- Competitive hourly rate based on course types and schedule, with Saturday premium pay.
