Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in a lab setting or off campus in a clinical setting as needed.
  • Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
  • Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
  • Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
  • Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Hondros College of Nursing follows the requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and the states in which our campuses operate.
  • Three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
  • Active State of Ohio RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
  • Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
  • Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Credentialing Requirements

Applicants selected and receiving an offer of employment will be required to complete key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start. Full detailed information is provided at time of offer.

  • A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $33.36 to $45.04 per hour.
